OUR INGREDIENTS

Olismera’s mission is to improve the lifestyle by developing and supplying products obtained from natural matrices; enhancing the ancient crops of the Calabrian Apennines and the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts characterized by centuries-old olive trees, large expanses of vineyards, rare citrus groves and unique wild plants. The polyphenols contained in the products of the pressing of olives (olea europaea) and grapes (vitis vinifera), coming from native cultivars and obtained with processes that preserve the properties of the natural extracts give high concentrations of hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein, resveratrol and other substances of particular importance for our life. All Olismera products are created by scrupulously following the suppliers of raw materials and the cycles that are naturally followed. Where possible, certified crops of citrus groves, olive groves and vineyards are associated with rare and wild plants that are intrinsically non-certifiable, but titled in active and standardized ingredients. Pure essential oils and solvent-free dried plant distillates are used as active ingredients and as completely natural fragrances, abolishing synthetic fragrances. Hydrolates and waters derived from the distillation of essential oils that are particularly rich in functional properties are included as ingredients in our cosmeceuticals and our beauty supplements. Micronized and cold-ground plants (and without solvents) are used as functional principles in our specific skin treatments and our nutraceuticals. Creative ideas and attention to detail are essential for the entire range of Olismera products. The particular and specific cultivars, the natural origin of the raw material used, the respect of the traceability of the origin and the eco-sustainability of the raw materials and the extraction processes, the absence of GMOs, pesticides and insecticides are the most important and minimum requirements to ensure the high quality of our creations.

OUR NON-INGREDIENTS

Olismera ensures the absence in its creations of raw materials that exploit GMOs, pesticides, insecticides and products of highly industrial areas. Olismera products do not contain: petrolatum (occlusive, not skin friendly), paraffinum liquidum (occlusive, not skin friendly), all substances that end up in -thicone or -siloxane which are silicones (not skin-compatible, difficult to wash off), all odd numbers with C in front (e.g. c12-15 alkyl benzoate, synthetic derivation), PEG and PPG (ethoxylated emulsifiers), DEA, MEA, TEA, MIPA (aggressive on the skin; possible formation of nitrosamines), EDTA (e.g. tetrasodium EDTA; water pollutants), carbomer together with roots such as crosspolymer or acrylate (s) or styrene or copolymer or nylon (synthetic, pollutant), triethanolamine (possible formation of nitrosoamines), triclosan (very antibacterial penetrant), DMDM ​​hydantoin, imidazolidinyl urea, diazolidinyl urea, formaldheyde, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (formaldehyde-releasing preservatives), methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone (allergenic preservatives), chlorexidine, nonoxynol or poloxamer (synthetic), all words that contain iso- (synthetic), i -trimonium and i -dimonium (water pollutants), as well as glycol (solvents harsh on the skin, synthetics).
